How often will my sponsored child write to me?

Your sponsored child will write to you at least two times a year. You can write to your child as often as you like, but we suggest about three or four times a year, so we don’t overwhelm our translators.

Please bear in mind that letters take a while to get through as they need to be translated and hand delivered, so please understand if your sponsored child doesn't respond to your questions straight away.

Your words can be a huge encouragement to your sponsored child and will really help to build their self-esteem and sense of self worth.
