Heavy rains in low-lying areas of southeastern Thailand

Heavy rains in Ubon Ratchathani Province of southeastern Thailand caused flooding in areas near one of our church partners. Many people in this community live in low-lying areas near the river, and their homes were flooded. Thankfully, they were able to move their belongings before the floodwaters came.

30 Compassion sponsored children have been affected. The church is working closely with the village and local government to provide support. These children and their families are staying in temporary shelter provided by the government. 

Please pray for floodwaters to recede, so the families can return to their homes. We will contact you directly if your sponsored child has been impacted.
