Heavy rains in Sri Lanka

Rains continue to cause damage and flooding in Sri Lanka. Batticaloa on the east coast is now impacted, making some roads impassable.
Please continue to pray for all those who have lost homes and livelihoods.
Compassion project staff and church partners are visiting families to assess their needs and provide cooked food and support with home repairs.

Recent heavy rains in Sri Lanka have brought flooding and the threat of landslides to regions of the country.
Families are struggling to find places to cook and sleep because of the mud in their homes. Please pray in particular for children from Dummalasooriya Child Development Centre and Inigodawela Child Development Centre. Compassion project staff and church partners are visiting families to assess their needs and provide help.
Please pray for improved weather in Sri Lanka and the continued safety of children and their families.
