Pray for Jamella and her grandparents

15 December

Thank you for faithfully praying for Jamella's family. We've received an update from Jamella's project director, Ate Susan, who rejoices that the family is doing well.

"Jamella is okay and she is attending school and weekly activities in the project.

While ang kanyang Lola will undergo surgical operation para maiunat ang kanyang braso dahil sa naging sugat niya.

While her grandma will undergo surgical operation so she can straighten her arm that got injured.

Ang Lola naman po ay mabuti naman at mejo nakakarecover na sila sa tulong ng simbahan at Compassion at ng ibang pamilya.

Her grandma is fine. They were able to recover through the help of the church, Compassion and relatives."

"But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness." Psalm 86:15

  • Praise God that sponsored child Jamella and her grandparents survived the fire that recently destroyed their house. Jamella's project workers from Kaibigan Child Development Centre are particularly grateful to God for protecting Jamella's grandparents as they are her sole caregivers.
  • Please pray for Jamella's grandmother to recover quickly from the burns she sustained. She is currently receiving treatment in hospital.

"He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." Psalm 91:4
